Naturally, I wanted to know more about these homes, so I googled them. To my surprise, I discovered that the famous homes are on "Dillingham Boulevard," named after Admiral A. C. Dillingham.

Hello, I ran into your blog while searching for more information about Adm. Dillingham's early life. I work for the Hampton Roads Naval Museum in Norfolk. I think you might enjoy these blog posts regarding your relative.

DeleteI am a Geni member and get regular updates. Today I got an update about Admiral A.C. Dillingham, my first cousin, three times removed. Google further led me to your delightful post. The Dillingham family has an interesting history in New England. Thanks for your interesting post. Elijah Palmer, I also found the articles you mentioned.
ReplyDeleteI would be interested in any information you may have about the parentage of John Dillingham of Valparaiso. He was originally from New England. I would also recommend that you look for the Dillingham group on Facebook if you haven't already.
